The Chapel is named after the world famous opera star, Jenny Lind, the “Swedish Nightingale”, who contributed to its construction in 1850. Considered the “Mother Church” of the former Augustana Lutheran Church of America, it hosts museum of early immigrant experiences through exhibits, audio and video.
