Galva

Established in 1854, Galva named for a seaport in Sweden remains rich in Swedish tradition. It continues to be a thriving, progressive community with a variety of antique and craft stores, a historical museum, flowering parks and restaurants. Located on Route 17 and 20 miles east of I-74 it is host to the Freedom Fest 4th of July Fireworks Celebration, family fun enjoyment and awesome fireworks. Be sure to join us again in November for the Ol' Fashioned Christmas where Veteran's Park is aglow.
